Armenian Prelacy Of Kuwait And Neighboring Countries

The Armenian community of Kuwait was established in the 1950s and continues today to maintain an active national and spiritual life.

The Diocese operates under the patronage of His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, serving the regions of Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.

The Church of St. Vartanants and the Armenian School Of Kuwait form the educational and religious pillars of the community.

Over the years, the Diocese has been led by many distinguished spiritual shepherds.

The Armenian community of Kuwait maintains close relations with the country’s authorities and continues its organized and vibrant communal life.
